Scratch painter (2003)

Machine à recycler, Scratch painter à pour but de tenter de ré-introduire dans cette belle société de consommation des disques vinyle mis au rebus car trop lowtech ou trop ecoutés.
La machine propose au public de choisir parmis un distributeur de disques, les titres de son choix, et de les placer sur les tables tournantes accrochées au mur. Le public pour les entendre devra les peindre, à l'aide des crayons de peinture mis à sa disposition. Les crayons étant à la fois des marqueurs et des micros, le participant effectuera en même temps une création picturale et sonore, mixant les peintures et mixant les sons.
Le public pourra ensuite soit accrocher son "beau" disque sur le mur de la galerie(comme objet d'art) ou l'accrocher chez lui, ou le mettre dans sa discothèque, le vinyl étant encore lisible après le passage dans le Scratch painting.
